Quay Animation Studios assisted a group of students to produce this strange little video inspired by the Olympic Games.

In a land of heroes, churning rapids and exploding waterfalls, a group of oddball characters come together in the biggest international race event in the entire history of the known universe. Only here will you see a surfing lizard go head to head against a pineapple in a wheelie bin. Will any of them make it to the finish line or will they have to work together as a team, just to survive the race?

Created by young people from the Crook area of County Durham as part of a Film Nation commissioned programme of filmmaking workshops led by local professionals.
