WHAT WE DID: Mentor, Animation

As part of a partnership between Tees Valley Arts and One Planet Middlesbrough Project, I worked with Middlesbrough based Macmillan Academy to deliver some Creative Engagement around the themes of One Planet Living.

Working alongside Niel Bushnell who was appointed as Creative Writer, we spent a week long residency at the school to work with 15 year 8 pupils at Macmillan Academy to produce an animated film looking at the topic of flooding and environmental issues.
The pupils were involved at every stage of the film from coming up with the initial idea, storyboarding the film, character and background design, voices and cut-out animation.
