Quay Animation Studios worked with 164 children to produce this short film.

This is an extract from The Dragon’s Egg, a short film produced with 164 children from the North East of England using a combination of stop motion animation with hand made artwork manipulated into 3D environments.

The children’s involvement was integral to all stages of production from the story, character design, artwork, model making, animation, voice over and sound design. The age of the children involved ranged from 4 to 18.
